Hi, I'm John Fordyce the owner and operator of SAFE-BUY Home Inspection. This page is about me, my qualifications and my company.
I am fully qualified to inspect all homes, structures, bridges, roads, waterline and sewer systems in Pennsylvania. I've been a civil and construction inspector for 6 years and started SAFE-BUY Home Inspection 2 and a half years ago. I fully comply with all Pennsylvania laws on Home Inspections and Civil Inspections.
A member in good standing of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI).
Currently certified by the National Institute for Certified Engineering Technologies (NICET).
Pennsylvania DEP certified radon tester #2550.
I am an affiliate member of the Indiana,PA - Board of Realtors.
Attended Penn Foster Technical Center and completed the Professional Home Inspector training course.
I've passed NACHI's on-line inspector examination and completed NACHI's Code of Ethics obstacle course and abide by it.
I passed and adhere to NACHI's Standards of Practice test and follow them.
I fulfill at least 24 hours of continuing education every year.
